Carlton Pereira is the Founder Partner of FDP Skilling Solutions LLP, the firm that launched the Samah Skilling Programme. Prior to establishing FDP, Carlton enjoyed a 35-year career in financial services. In his most recent stint, he co-founded a Private Equity firm in India. Armed with deep insights into business, he has designed Samah as a vocational education programme that solves a major business problem.

Carlton is Chairman - Governing Body of St Peter’s School, Panchgani, and was in the adjunct faculty at IIMs Lucknow and Rohtak for a self-designed course on Private Equity. He also is a guest lecturer at leading business schools on a variety of subjects relating to Public Policy.

 

Alongside business, Carlton also drives charitable initiatives. He founded an NGO which leverages sports to promote careers for under-privileged children. He was on the Board of a Trust that pioneered the concept of hospitals on a train to deliver medical treatments in remote areas of India. He mentors  youth in planning their careers and facing life’s challenges.
